For here's to thee, Chief Logan. Long may you reign supreme. . . . .
We ever will be loyal, and We'll praise your grand-ole name.
1963 photo of Chief logan Joint High School. The school doors officially opened in 1957, after the long awaited completion of its construction. The school still stands some 50+ years later, but no longer as Chief Logan. The name was retired in 1989, when Mifflin County Schools combined Chief Logan Joint High School and Kishacoquillas High School, and formed the new Indian Valley High School. Then in 2011 all the area schools were combined and formed the new Mifflin County High School (Huskies). A once proud high school, with a name rich in heritage and historical roots going all the way back to colonial times has finally gone to the dogs - literally.
